Colfax is a quaint, small community in Placer County, and we've been fortunate enough to complete a few roof projects there this year. This new construction roof project was originally bid for GAF HDZ composition shingles, which is the most cost effective roofing option, but these homeowners decided they wanted their home to have a bit more character and made the upgrade to GAF Glenwood shingles. Honestly, we believe they made a great decision! While more expensive than the HDZ shingles, Glenwood has the most authentic shake look of any composition shingle available. It's character and coloring is unmatched, and makes any roof look amazing. The added character of these shingles on a roof adds profound curb appeal. We cannot wait to see what that house looks like when its 100% complete, but for now, we'll show off this in-progress photo of the roof.
